Hello Bobcats!

Our mission at WBHS is to promote integrity, respect, and dignity by creating lifelong learners in a safe and trusting environment. We encourage our faculty and staff to “Dream Big” and excel with students both in the classroom as well as outside of the classroom.

Our vision at WBHS is to build a spirit of collaboration and pride. Our school is built on each student having an opportunity to create their own vision. WBHS strives to grow a community of self-reliant young adults who will explore and challenge their individual talents for future success. We want each student to have rigor and relevancy in all of their courses. This will enable each student to be prepared for college, career and/or work experience.

In just seven years, WBHS has set high standards and accomplished many of our goals. Our students have demonstrated their willingness to care for others by earning thousands of service hours in community centers, libraries, hospitals, tutoring, food pantries and shelters, just to mention a few. I am so very proud of our Bobcats and their willingness to contribute to society.

WBHS students have also reached scholastic, inter-scholastic, and college/career excellence as one of the top performing schools in the United States. Our students are being well prepared and fully equipped with twenty-first century skills. Our Bobcats have set these standards of excellence and we will continue to grow!

As one of the founding members of West Broward High School, I have had the pleasure of watching us grow into a world-class school. Students, I encourage you to take rigorous courses, get involved, and always continue to treat one another with respect and dignity.
